INTRODUCTION

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the management of information through the whole life cycle of a built asset, BIM enables a virtual information shared-based model to be handled from the design team (architects, surveyors, engineers of various disciplines), main contractors, sub-contractors to the owners / operators of the building.

This 2-day comprehensive course will lead the participants to learn in REVIT environment from creation of a BIM Project, information required in a building envelope, to implementation of 3D architectural and structural modelling technique, up to Project completion. One of the highlights in this course is to illustrate the interrelationship of Architectural and Structural (Arch. & Struct.) elements with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems to give the participants a better understanding of the importance of co-relationship with different disciplines.

OBJECTIVE

Upon completion of this 2-day comphensive training course, the participants will be able to manage the 3D modelling technique well, are confident to handle a small scale project independently with least supervisory.

PREREQUISTES

Basic knowledge* with hands-on experience in Revit is required; 
* Please refer to ACI BIM Modelling Practical Course – Basic Level  
Completion of Basic BIM training course is preferable

Certificate of successful Completion will be awarded delegates who have attended full course. An e-Certificate will only be granted. You may be able to claim CPD hours for your membership at professional bodies.
