ACI-HCS Hygiene Control System

In wake of the Avian influenza, Viral Gastro-enteritis, food poisoning and SARS outbreaks, people now realize the importance of food safety and public hygiene. It is time for public and private sector to consider how to take a step forward to ensure providing a hygienic environment for the communities and the customers they serve. By introducing the ISO 9001 concept with the implementation of Good Hygiene Practice, ACI has developed the Hygiene Control System Certification Scheme (“ACI-HCS”) in order to develop a framework for managing health risks associated with public hygiene in a systematic manner.
